How many doctors have I been to? Too many. When my POTS symptoms began in 2012, I went to a cardiologist who ran a stress test with an echocardiogram and told me the results were normal. Then in 2013 when more symptoms started, I started to see more doctors to try to get a correct diagnosis. Since, I’ve been to numerous specialists and doctors, and multiple of each, because not many doctors know about the illnesses I have. On top of that, I recently got a letter that as of January 2022, most of my doctors will no longer be taking my insurance. Therefore, I’ll need to find new doctors for almost every specialty. Those who understand how difficult it is to find an understanding, knowledgeable doctor how much of a nightmare this is. The current tally (from what I remember) is below. I included Physical Therapy in the list, as quite a few of them were Doctors of Physical Therapy.
